Join us for Paddy's night at the Grainstore! Great beers and a great opportunity to sing, dance and make merry!! It's all free entry, and easy to get to as it's next door to Oakham Station! As always, we only play to raise funds for charity and our trusty old charity bucket will be circulated - so be generous! Coincidentally the England vs Ireland Rugby Match will be on view from 5pm - so there should be an atmosphere! It doesn't matter who wins - we've got Irish, English in our band - and a Dutchman to referee!
Sunday 3rd June 2012 at The Plough Greetham
Time - not sure yet, music from 3pm to 9pm. See www.ploughgreetham.co.uk for details nearer the time.

Tonight we’re supporting 11 women, "The Greetham Chicks" who are doing the 14 mile night time Moon Walk around the streets of London to raise money for a breast cancer charity.
The fun starts at 8pm, free entry, food available, and a great selection of Purity Beers + Guinness – all at £2.50 a pint!! McGoo, great beer at good prices – what’s not to like?!
The pub was packed, and everyone was there to support The Greetham Chicks Moon Walk for Breast cancer Care. Les's raffle and the shaking of the battered McGoo charity bucket raised a magnificent £370 towards the cause! A great night was had by all.

McGoo’s merry men and women have a major hand in organising the Greetham Music-Ale Festival. Basically it’s loads of bands (from rock, blues, pop, gospel, folk and hillbilly, and more ...), quality festival food, a real ale festival, and loads of family friendly arts and dance activities from 12 noon to 12 midnight. Of course, McGoo will be playing at their traditional tea time slot at about 6pm! It’s all brilliant!
This year McGoo will especially be supporting Rutland Sailability, in memory of local musician Ade Cooke.
The Greetham Music-Ale Festival 2011 line-up is accelerating - keep an eye on the Greetham Music/Ale Festival website for updates. The line-up currently includes:
Sunday 19th June
McGoo heads the line-up for this fantastic, traditional village fair, in sight of a fabulous Norman castle mound. Plenty of stalls and food and rumours of a Spitfire fly-over! Starts at 9am. McGoo on at 12 noon. See www.midsummerfair.co.uk

Saturday 9th July 2011
Fox and Hounds Yard, Exton, Rutland LE15
Telephone, tickets and information: Check the Extonbury website, closer to the date extonbury.org/
McGoo will be playing once again along with many other bands in this idyllic outdoor setting in a paddock behind the Fox and Hounds Inn at Exton – see the pub’s website www.foxandhounds.co.uk
It’s a great event and the crowd has enjoyed fantastic summer weather the last couple of years.
